• Floci is a free, open-source local AWS emulator that runs right away with no account sign-up or authentication, with a lightweight design started by a single command
• An unrestricted alternative in preparation for the 2026 end of service of LocalStack Community Edition, and its MIT license also allows commercial use
• Very lightweight, with a 24ms startup time, 13MiB of memory, and a 90MB image, and shows 100x faster speed and 10x less memory use than LocalStack
• Fully supports more than 20 AWS services and passes all 408 SDK tests, ensuring high compatibility
• Integrates simply by changing the endpoint of an existing AWS SDK, providing a drop-in solution ready to use right away in local development and test environments
