How to install

sudo apt-get install fcitx
sudo apt-get install fcitx-hangul

Settings I use often

• How to type Korean on Ubuntu 20.04 (feat. fcitx)

First, install Fcitx and log out and log back in. Then remove all keyboard shortcuts related to Super + Space. See the following screenshot:

Open the Language Support program and set "Keyboard input method system:" to fcitx.

Then run the fcitx configuration program (Input method configuration), go to the "input method" tab, and add Hangul.

In the "Global Config" tab, set "Trigger Input Method" to Super+Space. You can also add the right Korean/English toggle key (Ralt).
