The Etiquette and Ceremonial (Yili, 儀禮) is one of the Confucian classics on rites.

The 17 chapters of the Rites for the Shi (士禮) transmitted by Gaotang Sheng in the region of the State of Lu during the Western Han period are regarded as the origin of the Yili, and in the Eastern Han period it was valued as the Classic of Rites, one of the Five Classics. The name Yili dates from the Jin dynasty (Western Jin). There are theories that it was created and established by the Duke of Zhou (Dan) of the Zhou dynasty, or that it was compiled by Confucius. The class order of the Zhou dynasty was king, feudal lords, ministers (qing), grand masters (dafu), and shi, and the 『Yili』 centers on the rites of the shi, but it also includes some rites of the grand masters and of the feudal lords.
