Error function

The error function (誤差函數, error function) is a non-elementary function used in probability theory, statistics, partial differential equations, and more. Also called the Gauss error function, it is defined as follows.

\[ \operatorname{erf}(x) = \frac{2}{\sqrt{\pi}}\int_0^x e^{-t^2}\,\mathrm dt \]
