About

• A project aiming for providerless email that is not tied to a central server or mail provider
  • Aims to place ownership of accounts, addresses, and data entirely with the user's private key
• Designing an encrypted messaging layer based on an open protocol that can connect its own p2p network + decentralized networks such as Ethereum + even existing IMAP/SMTP email
• The current public version works as a regular mail client + a security-enhanced edition
  • Compatible with Gmail, Outlook, and other major mail providers
  • Supports Proton Mail server authentication
  • PGP encryption, BIP39 seed-based local accounts, encrypted local backups
• Future plans include distributed Eppie accounts, p2p encrypted messaging, decentralized backups, and integration with existing Web3 IDs such as ENS
  • Designed to use IPFS for data storage, SBBS for transport, and elliptic curves (ECC) for e2e encryption
• Supports Windows/macOS/Linux/iOS/Android with C# + the Uno platform
