An electronic keyboard (電子 - , English: electronic keyboard, portable keyboard, digital keyboard, musical keyboard) is a general term for the electronic instruments in popular use among keyboard instruments. In particular, the term is often used to mean a new kind of keyboard instrument, as opposed to traditional instruments long used in classical music such as the piano or organ, or the harmonica. A person who plays the keyboard is called a keyboardist.
