Electronic commerce (電子商去來; electronic commerce, e-commerce, eCommerce) is the activity of buying and selling products or services over a network such as the Internet using computers and the like; that is, transactions carried out in a virtual space using electronic media (systems). Modern e-commerce, in a broader sense, also uses e-mail, but it usually uses the World Wide Web.

As a part of electronic business (E-business), it refers to buying and selling products or services electronically using the Internet, networks, and other digital technologies. E-commerce also includes activities such as advertising, marketing, customer support, delivery, and payment.

In a virtual market on the Internet made up of video and graphics, producers and consumers from countries around the world can meet directly and trade without intermediaries, and payment is possible by credit card or electronic money.
