The dracut utility was created for the simple purpose of managing initramfs files.

Troubleshooting

Cannot remove 30-dm-shutdown.sh Readonly file system

• RDOインストールマシンのシャットダウン時エラー

When shutting down the PC, the following message may be printed and the PC may fail to shut down.

rm: cannot remove /lib/drauct/hooks/shutdown/30-dm-shutdown.sh: Read-only filesystem

In this case, it was solved by registering the service with the command below.

$ sudo systemctl mask dracut-shutdown.service
