About
- A lightweight GUI C++ class library that uses the existing BeOS-style API as-is, making it easy to develop intuitive and powerful native graphical apps on Linux
- Runs in Wayland-based environments and, unlike the existing Haiku, can run on the Linux kernel and on any file system
- Aims for very easy GUI classes, a multithreaded structure, and minimal resource use, making it well suited to modern hardware
- Derived from the Haiku project, but Cosmoe uses the Linux kernel and has a lighter structure
- Two versions exist: the new library that runs directly in a Wayland environment without the traditional server-based structure, and Cosmoe Classic, which recreates the entire Haiku OS
