Color (Korean: saek (色) or saekkkal (色-; Munhwaŏ: saekgal), bitkkal (Munhwaŏ: bitgal)) refers to the hues perceived differently depending on differences in the frequency (or wavelength) of light sensed through color vision. It can also refer to the names given to different hues, such as brown and dark brown. Meanwhile, the act of applying color to an object is called painting (dosaek).
