Features
- A self-hostable open-source collaboration platform combining Slack-style chat with Notion-style documentation
- Provides real-time chat, rich text pages, custom databases, and file management
- Local-first architecture that stores data in a local SQLite DB and then syncs it through Postgres, Redis, and Yjs
- Uses CRDTs (Conflict-free Replicated Data Types) to support concurrent editing by multiple users, with automatic conflict-free merging
- All data is made up of Nodes (messages, files, folders, channels, databases, etc.), and attributes and permissions can be set for each node
- Consists of a Node.js server API and an Electron desktop client; a mobile app is also in development
