Code of conduct.
A code of conduct is an agreement between states used to establish a model of uniform conduct, especially within international organizations. It is not a treaty under international law but a recommendation with no legal binding force on states or other entities (e.g., multinational corporations), and it helps international economic and capital exchange proceed with as little dispute as possible. It is also called a code of behavior, norms of conduct, ethical service code, code of ethics, or ethics rules.
