A chief executive officer (CEO) (最高經營者, also 最高經營責任者) is the highest-ranking executive responsible for the overall management of a company, organization, or government department. Many companies use this term in internal communication and through the media. Depending on the company, the role may be held concurrently with chair of the board or president.
