Cg

Cg, or C for Graphics, is a high-level shading language developed by NVIDIA in collaboration with Microsoft. It is very similar to Microsoft's HLSL.

Cg is based on the C language and has the same syntax as C, but some features were modified and new data types suited to programming graphics processing units were added.
