How to apply gradations/gradients.

Troubleshooting

When the steps between interpolated colors are clearly visible

Check whether the difference between the color values is too small.

As a simplified example, a gradient between RGB(255, 255, 255) and RGB(254, 254, 254) has only 1 step in Grayscale. If you then make it fill the whole screen, the step becomes conspicuous.
