In Blender, Mirror lets you apply an object with a reflection effect around a reference point, as if looking in a mirror. Using object copy (Duplicate) and the like, you can make an identical copy of an object across a reference plane.

Method 1

Properties > Object Modifiers

If you want a duplicated (Duplicate) mirror effect for a specific object, use the method below.

  1. Select Add Modifiers.
  2. Select Generate > Mirror.

Method 2

3D View > Object > Mirror

If you want a mirror effect for a specific object (or mesh), use the method below. (If you want to apply it to a duplicated object (or mesh), you must apply it using object copy (Shift + D).)

  1. Change the Pivot Point at the bottom of the 3D View. (Here, 3D Cursor is used.)
  2. Place the 3D Cursor at the center position of the Mirror. //(Use center move (Shift + C) or Origin point move (Ctrl + Shift + Alt + C), etc.)//
  3. Use 3D View > Object > Mirror > *.
