Android KeyStore System

The Android KeyStore system requires cryptographic keys to be stored in a container, making them more difficult to extract from the device. Once keys are in the keystore, they can be used for cryptographic operations while the key material remains non-exportable. The system also offers facilities to restrict when and how keys can be used (e.g., requiring user authentication for key use, or restricting keys to use only in certain cryptographic modes). See the Security Features section for details.
The KeyStore system is used not only by the KeyChain API but also by the Android KeyStore provider feature introduced in Android 4.3 (API level 18).
Default debug keystore
If you develop in the default development mode without getting a key issued from the Android store, the application is signed with the Debug key by default. When handing over an application project, you need to pass along this signed keystore file; debug.keystore is located at:
In Eclipse, it can be used from the following location.
