AsyncTask enables proper and easy use of the UI thread. This class allows to perform background operations and publish results on the UI thread without having to manipulate threads and/or handlers.
AsyncTask is a class made to make using handlers and threads convenient. It is simple because both UI work and business logic can be handled within one class. As for usage, you can assume AsyncTask is used for almost any case where UI and logic must run together, such as downloads, login, and so on.
