Custom Android USB Driver

Use this when the seller does not provide a driver (low-cost Android devices).

  1. Open Device Manager in Windows OS.
  2. Get the ID of the Android hardware that is not recognized properly.
    USB\VID_18D1&PID_DEED&REV_0231&MI_01
    USB\VID_18D1&PID_DEED&MI_01
  3. In the folder where the Android SDK is installed, open the Android\android-sdk\extras\google\usb-driver\android_winusb.inf file.
(For this file, Google USB Driver Package, revision 3 or higher must be in Installed packages when you run SDK Manager.exe in android-sdk.)
  4. Insert the entries into the [Goolgle.NTx86] category and the [Google.NTamd64] category.
;NOTE K : 주석으로 기기명을 넣든지 맘대로 넣으면 된다.
%SingleAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_18d1&PID_0003&MI_01
%CompositeAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_18d1&PID_0003&REV_9999&MI_01
%SingleBootLoaderInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_0BB4&PID_0FFF
  • For the %SingleAdbInterface% entry, write USB_Install, followed by the value on the second line of the hardware ID in the Android properties you checked earlier in Control Panel.
  • For the %CompositeAdbInterface% entry, write the value on the first line of the hardware ID.
  • Write %SingleBootLoaderInterface% as shown above.
