Ada

Ada is a structured, statically typed, imperative, object-oriented high-level computer programming language. It was originally designed from 1977 to 1983 by a team led by Jean Ichbiah of CII Honeywell Bull, with the aim of replacing hundreds of programming languages. Ada shares some operations with C and C++, but it is a language with a very strong type system.
Ada is named after Ada Lovelace (1815-1852), who contributed to inventing computer programming.
